This Privacy Policy applies to Popcorn services (the “Platform”), which include Popcorn apps, websites, software and related services accessed via any platform or device that link to this Privacy Policy. The Platform is provided and controlled by ZTRON CO LTD. (“Popcorn”, “we” or “us”). We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and otherwise process the personal information of users and other individuals aged 13 and over in connection with our Platform. For users under age 13 (“Children”) are strictly prohibited from registering for accounts at Popcorn platform. Terms that are capitalized and not defined within this Privacy Policy hold the definitions provided in the Terms of Service.

The Information We Collect

We may collect the information from you and pertaining to you, which includes data provided by you, information from external sources, and automatically collected data.

What Information You Provide

When creating an account, uploading content, directly contacting us, or utilizing the Platform in any other way, you may provide some or all of the following information:

Account and profile information, such as name, age, username, password, language, email, phone number, social media account information, and profile image.
User-generated content, like comments, photos, videos, and text that you create or upload to the Platform ("User Content"), along with related details like when and where it was made, is an essential part of our service. Even if you're not a registered user, information about you may show up in content from other users. When you make User Content, we might put it on the Platform before you officially share it (we call this "pre-uploading"). We do this to help with things like suggesting sound options, making captions, and giving personalized recommendations. If you add effects to your User Content, we may also keep a version without those effects.
Information, including text, images, and videos, from your device's clipboard, is accessed with your permission. For instance, if you opt to share information with a third-party platform or paste content from your clipboard onto the Platform, we retrieve this data from your clipboard to meet your request.
Messages cover the information you provide when composing, sending, or receiving messages through the Platform's messaging features. This includes messages sent via our chat function when communicating with merchants selling you goods, and your interactions with virtual assistants during purchases. This data includes the message content, along with details like sending, receiving, and reading times, as well as who is in the conversation. Please note that messages you send to other users on the Platform will be visible to them, and we're not accountable for how they use or share those messages.
Purchase information, including payment card numbers or other third-party payment details (such as PayPal) when needed for payment, as well as billing and shipping addresses, is collected. Additionally, we gather information required for extended warranty purposes, along with your transaction and purchase history on or through the Platform.
With your consent, we collect your phone and social network contacts. If you use your phone contacts to find other users, we'll gather information like names, phone numbers, and email addresses, and check it against existing Platform users. Similarly, if you search for users via your social network contacts, we'll collect your public profile details and the names and profiles of your social network contacts.
Your decisions and communication preferences.
Information required for account verification, such as proof of identity or age.
Information included in your correspondence, including support-related communication with us.
Information shared in surveys or when participating in challenges, research, promotions, marketing campaigns, events, or contests. This may encompass details like gender, age, likeness, and preferences.

Information Obtained From External Sources

We may receive the information explained in this Privacy Policy from other sources, such as:

If you opt to register or log in to the Platform through a third-party service like Apple ID, Google, Email, or link your Popcorn account to such a service, we may gather information from that service. This could include information like your public profile details (e.g., a nickname), email, and contact list.
Advertisers, measurement, and other partners provide us with details about you and things you did beyond the Platform, like what you did on other websites, apps, or in stores—like what you bought online or offline. They also give us things like mobile IDs for ads, encrypted emails, and phone numbers, and cookie IDs. We use these to connect your activities outside the Platform with your Popcorn account.
We may get information about you from related companies in our corporate group, including details about what you do on their platform.
We may receive information about you from others, like when you're mentioned in User Content, direct messages, complaints, appeals, requests, or feedback sent to us. If someone gives us your contact info, we might collect that too. We could also gather details from public sources.

Automatically Gathered And Collected Information

We collect certain information from you automatically when you use the Platform. This includes details about your internet or network activity, like your IP address, location-related data, unique device identifiers, browsing and search history (including what you've viewed on the Platform), and Cookies.

Usage Information: We collect data about how you use the Platform and any User Content you make or upload.
Device Information: We gather specific details about the device you use to access the Platform, like your IP address, user agent, mobile carrier, time zone settings, advertising IDs, device model, system, network type, device IDs, screen resolution, operating system, app and file names/types, typing patterns, battery status, audio settings, and connected audio devices. We assign you a device ID and user ID automatically. If you log in from different devices, we can use your device ID and user ID to track your actions across them. We might also link you with info collected from devices other than those you use to log in.
Location Data: We collect general location data, including info from your SIM card and/or IP address. Additionally, if you choose to include location details in your User Content, we'll get location information (like tourist spots, shops) you add. Note: The current app versions don't collect precise or approximate GPS info from users.
Image and Audio Information: We collect details about videos, images, and audio in your User Content. This can involve identifying objects, scenery, face and body features, audio characteristics, and spoken words. This helps enable special video effects, content moderation, demographic classification, content and ad suggestions, and other operations that don't personally identify you. Sometimes we may also gather biometric identifiers and info from your User Content, like faceprints and voiceprints. If needed by law, we'll ask for your permission before collecting this.
Metadata: When you upload or create User Content, connected metadata is also automatically uploaded. Metadata gives extra info about your User Content that viewers might not immediately know. For example, it could show when, where, and by whom the User Content was made, collected, or edited, and how it's formatted. It also includes things like your account name, which helps others link the User Content back to you. Plus, metadata can have data you provide, like hashtags and captions.
Cookies: We and Service providers use cookies and similar technologies (like web beacons, flash cookies) to gather info about your Platform use. This includes what pages you visit most, how you interact with content, and your overall experience. Cookies make your experience better, improve the Platform, provide ads, and measure ad and content effectiveness. We also use Cookies to promote the Platform on other sites. They make certain features work and recognize certain actions. Web beacons are small images or data pieces in images ("pixel tags") that recognize Cookies and gather page view time, page description, and related info from your device.

We do not assume responsibility for the privacy practices of our service providers and business partners. The information practices of these service providers and business partners are not within the scope of this Privacy Policy.

When you make a purchase from a third party on the Platform, including from a merchant using our shopping features, we share transaction-related information with that third party and their service providers and transaction fulfillment providers. By making the purchase, you are instructing us to share your information in this manner. These entities will handle the shared information according to their privacy policies.

The current versions of our app do not collect precise or approximate GPS information from our users.
If you have registered for an account, you can access, review, and update certain personal information you have provided to us by logging into your account and using available features and functionalities.
While some web browsers send "do-not-track" signals to websites, we do not currently take action in response to these signals due to variations in how browsers implement this feature.

Popcorn may transfer your data to servers or data centers located outside of Your Region for storage or processing. Additionally, other entities with whom Popcorn may share your data, as described in this policy, may be situated outside of Your Region.

Children and Teens:

The Platform is not intended for Children. In case we become aware that personal information has been collected from a Child on the Platform, we will erase this information and deactivate the Child's account.
